Former Florida State Cheerleader and Captain.
I was born in Richmond, Virginia and raised in Lake Worth, Florida. I've played a few different competitive sports throughout my life, including football and wrestling. I got involved in competitive cheerleading my senior year of high school. During my first cheerleading practice I was in awe of the two Florida State guys that were there to help out. After that day I was addicted and worked as hard as I could to make the FSU Co-Ed team. I cheered at FSU from 2010-2014. Our coed team cheered for football, basketball, and volleyball. I was lucky enough to also be voted captain by my peers during my final two years on the team. One of my favorite memories from FSU was cheering on the winning Seminoles during the 2013 National Championship game in Pasadena, CA. I graduated in May of 2015 with a double major in Political Science and International Affairs. I currently work for Kloeckner Metals, a metal service center, as a Processing/Sales Assistant.
I have been apart of the Zone family since the first year of the program in 2009. I cheered with Zone from 7th grade through my senior year of high school. In addition to all-star cheerleading, I cheered for Nease High School on their sideline and competition teams my sophomore through senior year. I attended the University of South Florida for my freshman year of college and have moved back home where I have completed my AA and then attend nursing school in Jacksonville. Being an athlete at Zone has taught me lifelong skills that I will appreciate and cherish forever. It has molded me into a strong, confident person that is ready to take on any challenge I am given! I am so happy to be back, as a coach now, at my second home! I can't wait to see what amazing memories are to come.
I started competitive gymnastics at an early age and continued to compete all over the state of Florida until I reached high school. When I was going into my first year of high school, I tried out for the cheerleading team. I was a Varsity cheerleader all 4 years at Ponte Vedra High School where I was involved in competitive cheer as well as sideline cheer. During my sophomore year of high school, our team began have our competition practices at zone. During my senior year, I was selected by my teammates to be the captain of the team. We continued to have practices at zone through my senior year in high school. This is where I fell in love with the program of zone cheer. Halfway through my senior year I began Allstar cheer at zone and continued to compete for zone through my final year as a super senior. I was also the coach of a local, small competitive pop warner team where we took the girls to State to compete in Orlando. I could not be more excited to begin my coaching career at Zone Cheer Allstars. I hope to follow in the footsteps of my role models, Coach Jessica & Coach Melanie and teach young athletes how far hard work and dedication can take one not only in cheerleading but also in one's life.
Bailey began cheering and training for the sport at very young age. She started as a sideline cheerleader for SCRA - a Recreational League her family was very involved in, in Woodstock, Georgia. She soon started to get more interested in the competitive aspect of the sport. Bailey started tumbling at the age of six, having most of her skills before the age of ten. She began competing for Devilray Allstars in Cartersville, Georgia.
When she started high school, she went on to compete for their Varsity Competition team all four years, as well as cheer under the Friday night lights. After years of competing at Devilrays on a level four team, as a level five athlete, she made the decision to move to a gym right up the road - The Stingray Allstars. Bailey spent her last two years in high school wearing the blue and green on a Worlds team called Orange. Ending her allstar career as a World Champion in 2012.
Bailey went on to cheer in College at the University of West Georgia going on to win The 2013 College Cheerleading Championships in the following January. Go Wolves. Bailey became injured her 1st year in college leading to a retirement of the sport. The summer after her recovery she became a Universal Cheerleading Association Staff as a Camp Instructor. Bailey worked with the company for four years traveling and doing camps all across the North and South east regions. In the off seasons, she started working for an event company under Varsity called Allstar Challenge. These days she is the Rehearsal Director and handles scheduling within the events. Bailey is so excited to be working with knowledgable coaches and can’t wait to see how the season turns out!
